Acne or consistent blemishes are often a problem for many. Over the counter acne/blemish products are loaded with chemicals that can dry out the skin and harm our inner organs and systems. If you are feeling motivated and creative, here is an easy, all natural face mask you can create at home and save some money.

Tea Tree Oil:  10-12 drops,  a powerful antibacterial and anti-fungal. Works wonders treating blemishes.

Lemon Juice: 1 tablespoon,  kills bacteria, firms and revitalizes.

Raw Potato (optional): 2 tablespoons,  an effective all natural anti-inflammatory, also- soothes irritation. Use your juicer to make potato juice.

Apple Cider Vinegar: 4 tablespoons,  kills bacteria and helps balance oily skin.

Honey: 2 tablespoons,  natural antibacterial agent.

Cucumber: 2 inches,  cucumber is alkaline and is great for soothing irritated skin and open pores.

Oatmeal Powder: 3/4 cup,  grind in a good blender. Oatmeal has been used forever for, soothing irritated skin, burns and allergic reactions… and helps heal inflammation and redness.

Water:  enough to make a paste.

Place all ingredients into a food processor and slowly add enough water to make into a paste. Store paste in a plastic container with a tight lid and keep in the fridge for up to a week.

Apply a small amount onto face, leaving on for 10-15 minites. Wash off gently without exfoliating  (exfoliating will result in spreading the bacteria, causing more blemishes). Pat to dry and use as needed.

Opt for an oil free foundation and a natural, chemical free skin care line to balance oily skin conditions.

We all deserve clear, radiant skin!!
